The reports revealed the cameras detecting objects at the back could become elusive in detecting weather changes in the surroundings. Additionally, the AI program intended to help these electric vehicle models’ drivers came under scrutiny for performing poorly. The customers stated that this marketing feature underperformed, as the company had explained.

Tesla stuffed its ears and did not divulge any response to back up this inadequacy in its models. The pilot review involved about 64000 Tesla Model S cars before the agency declaring a probe into the whole batch. NHTSA explained that the control systems’ results are okay, and they don’t have any problem.

For instance, the memory storage and access units are working as the company had explained in its tradeshow. The lifetime of the memory devices is in line with the company’s explanation. The complaints emerged in the cars’ charging capacity, with customers revealing that the safety of the systems is alarming. NHTSA revealed that over 10000 complaints received opted to start the probe on these vehicles. On the other hand, Tesla recorded a total of 14922 complaints and claims associated with these vehicles. The customers stated that they have to pay for the substitution of faulty components in their electric cars because the warranty expired.
